Climate-smart agriculture (CSA) is an approach that aims to achieve the “triple win” of improving agricultural productivity, enhancing resilience to climate change, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The World Bank CSA Indicators tool helps practitioners and policymakers measure a country’s progress against three climate smart agriculture indexes: Policy, Technology and Results. The tool will help standardize how CSA is measured across the agriculture sector.

The World Bank CSA Indicators tool will help countries implement policies, technologies practices, and monitoring frameworks to operationalize CSA to ensure more productive, resilient, and low carbon agriculture.
